Reporting an Outage

Pearl River Valley Electric Power Association works hard to prevent power outages, but if one does occur, our goal is to restore power as quickly as possible.

As a Pearl River Valley Electric customer, you may visit the Outage Reporting and Tracking website to report and track power outages. Every report we receive helps determine the extent and location of the problem. Please note that restoration times are estimations. Also, an indication that power is restored to an area does not guarantee your house or business has power.

When reporting an outage, be prepared to enter one of these:

  • Pearl River Valley EPA account number, from the top left side of your utility bill
  • Location phone number

You can also call 1-855-2PRVEPA (1-855-277-8372) to report and check on power outages, and to report:

  • Downed electrical wires
  • Arcing electric equipment
  • Dim or flickering lights
  • Partial power outages
  • Downed electrical poles

If your telephone number or other account information is missing or incorrect in our system, it may cause a delay in reporting your outage! Please contact your local office today to update your records.

Please Note: Report life-threatening emergencies by calling 9-1-1

We regret that we cannot respond to outages reported by e-mail. Please do not dial 911 for outage information or to report power outages.
